Every formula here is written the same way: percentages by weight that total exactly 100, a worked gram column for a stated batch size, the yield in real containers, a method with temperatures, and a section on how to adjust the result if it is too hard, too soft, too greasy or too dull.
The percentages matter more than the shopping list. A formula is a set of ratios between a structurant, a hard fat and a liquid oil, and once you can read those ratios you can adapt any recipe you find anywhere else. If a number here looks unusual, the page explains why it is what it is.
Molten wax and fat sit at 70 to 80 C and stick to skin. Use a water bath, never a naked flame under an oil pot, and keep a bowl of cold water within reach. Observe the essential oil limits given on each page, and see cosmetic vs drug claims before you describe any product as treating a condition.
